Rental Policies and Responsibilities
Please review these policies before booking a vehicle or transfer service.
1. Booking and confirmation
A booking request is subject to vehicle and schedule availability. Your reservation is confirmed only after Mayon Rent a Car sends confirmation and any required payment or deposit has been received.
2. Driver and rental requirements
Self-drive renters must provide a valid driver's license and an accepted government-issued ID. The renter must be legally qualified to drive and must provide accurate contact and trip information.
3. Vehicle use and care
The vehicle may only be used for lawful personal or business travel. The renter is responsible for reasonable care, safe operation, fuel, tolls, parking, traffic violations, and damage caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized drivers, or prohibited activities.
4. Pickup, return, and schedule changes
Please provide accurate pickup and return locations, exact addresses when requested, and flight details for airport service. Delays or changes should be reported as soon as possible. Late returns, missed pickups, or location changes may result in additional charges or availability limitations.
5. Rates, deposits, and additional charges
Rates depend on the selected vehicle, dates, service, location, and package. Additional charges may apply for delivery, return, extensions, excess cleaning, damage, late return, or other services stated in your quotation. Any deposit or payment terms will be shown before confirmation.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation, refund, and amendment terms depend on the booking and quotation. Contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or change a reservation so we can advise you of the applicable terms.
7. Availability and service limitations
We may provide a comparable vehicle or adjust a booking when circumstances outside our reasonable control affect availability, safety, or service operations. We will communicate material changes as soon as practical.
